Cedar Plank Atlantic Salmon
Our Atlantic Cedar Planked Salmon is hand cut, rubbed with gourmet seasoning, then garnished and placed on pre-soaked cedar boards cut from Canadian renewable forests. Seasonings are rubbed on the entire filet rather than just the top, as you would typically find with other products. Our Atlantic Cedar Planked Salmon is five-star restaurant quality and comes from the thickest part of the salmon, allowing for more even cooking.

DEFROST BEFORE COOKING. TO DEFROST: DO NOT OPEN THE VACUUM PACK. Defrost overnight in the refrigerator or submerge the entire vacuum package in cold water until thawed (approximately 40 minutes or until the product is completely defrosted). COOK PROMPTLY AFTER THAWING. REMOVE FROM PACKAGING by cutting with scissors around the protective plastic wrap.
BARBECUE: Preheat BBQ to medium-high heat (approximately 425F). Place the salmon and plank directly over the BBQ grill and close cover for about 14-18 minutes or until the internal core temperature reaches 145F. When cooking on the BBQ, ensure a spray bottle is handy in case of flare-ups.
CONVENTIONAL OVEN: Preheat oven to 425F. Place the salmon and plank directly on the MIDDLE rack. Bake for 14-18 minutes or until the internal core temperature reaches 145F. DO NOT OVERCOOK. Salmon is cooked when the flesh becomes flaky. Salmon is perfectly cooked when it is still slightly pink in the center of the fillet. Remove immediately from the cooking source. The product will continue to cook when you remove it from the grill or oven. Salmon will easily come off the plank when serving. Do not reuse the plank.
